Amway believes it is our responsibility to give something back to the communities where we do business so we have contributed to hundreds of charity programs in Taiwan, such as the following over the last few years:

Have held the charity program" Amway Hope Maker" since 1999 till now, which raises funds with distributors’ participation in selling charity products and donates the profits to the selected NGOs. In 2008-2010, Amway “Hope Maker” has been sponsoring tuitions for disadvantaged junior high students in 20 junior high schools and the educational resources for 15 remote junior high schools in Taitung, the least affluent county in Taiwan. This program's total donation to NPOs and Taitung schools has amounted to NT$ 74 million (US$2.5 million) since 1999. The Taipei City Government awarded “Contributions to Social Education in Taipei City 2011" to honor Amway Taiwan’s remarkable contributions to disadvantaged children’s education.

In December 2012, Amway Taiwan established "Amway Hope Maker Charity Foundation". This Foundation will focus on helping disadvantaged children to take tutoring programs aiming at improving their competitiveness, as well as rendering more resources to make their dreams come true in the future. To maximize the synergy to help disadvantaged groups in the community, this Foundation will be a platform integrating the company's and distributor's actions in CSR programs.
